The aim of this course; basically to examine the principles, methods and applications in the field of education related to research and processes in a wide spectrum and to enable students to; to increase their knowledge and understanding of research designs, data collection process, analysis and report writing

Course Contents
The content of this course; basic concepts and principles of research methods; research process (recognizing the problem, identifying the problem and sample, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting the results); general characteristics of data collection tools; analysis and evaluation of data; access to articles, theses and databases; research models and types; basic paradigms in scientific research; quantitative and qualitative research patterns; sampling in qualitative research, data collection, data analysis; validity and safety in qualitative research; article or thesis review, evaluation and presentation; preparing a research report in accordance with research principles and ethics; constitutes action research in education.
