Objectives of the Course
To teach the basic knowledge and concepts of Rural Sociology, It aims to teach that comprehensive information about the rural living by examining the social and socio-economic living conditions.

1Student recognizes Rural Sosiology as a sub-discipline of Sociology and learn the concepts, definitions and general information about it.
2 Students can make the distinction between rural and urban and they can learn basic features of the village community.
3Students are aware of the impact of modernization on rural sociology by studying rural sociology studies done in Turkey
4Students are aware of the connections and differences between urban life and rural life and learns the reasons for forming them.
