This course is designed for analyzing the impact of globalization on nation states which are accepted as basic actors of international system.

1To analyze the social, economic and cultural effects of globalization on nation states.
2To evaluate the effects of globalization on national sovereignty.
3To identify new actors emerging in the international system in the context of globalization.

5To analyze the relations of new actors among each other and with nation states.

Course Contents
In this course, social, economic, cultural impacts of globalization on nation states will be discussed, whether globalization is a threat for national sovereignty or not will be examined, new actors which have emerged with globalization and their impacts on world economy and politics and their relations with themselves and nation states will be analyzed.
