Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to the field of history of dcience by considering the developments in science in terms of various epistemological assumptions.

1Describes the definition, purpose, history, sources and characteristics of knowledge.
2Analyze the problem of accuracy of information along with information types in the relationship of mutual causality.
3Evaluates the developmental history of Western knowledge along with the socio-cultural reasons.
4Analyzes the basic properties, methods and techniques of scientific knowledge by comparing with other types of knowledge.
5Evaluates the basic scientific paradigms and basic approaches together with the methods and techniques.
