Objectives of the Course
Course’s main aim is examining the relations between states starting the emergence of the modern nation-states, from the French Revolution in 1789, in line with the revolutions of 1830 and 1848, discussing the impact of the internal dynamics of inter-state relations and analyzing the historical events of cause-and-effect relationships which reveals today's international system.

Course Contents
Main contents are historical events that caused World War I, during the World War II, a significant regime changes occurring in Europe, World War II and post-war arrangements, the bipolar world and the Cold War, international relations during the Cold War, the disintegration of the USSR, new actors, new world map and New Social Movements ad Globalization.
