Objectives of the Course |
The aim of this course is to enable the prospective teachers to know the nature, purpose and content of the Primary School Textbooks Review course and evaluate the primary school textbooks in terms of form, content and educational values within the curriculum. |

Course Contents |
To be able to comprehend the principles to be used in pre-school textbook selection and arrangement; examine the textbooks used in practice in terms of curriculum; examine the theory, approach, philosophy and program elements of the curriculum in terms of elements (purpose, content, teaching-learning processes, evaluation) and examine the textbooks in terms of the criteria (scientific language, content and physical properties) that are considered in preparing these elements and textbook. |
