| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | This course aims to present information that will help prospective classroom teachers to improve their creative writing and expression skills and to help them comprehend and apply this information. In addition, the following subjects are also aimed within the scope of this course:
• Understanding the process of correctly transferring ideas and information to paper, being aware of the power of language and the characteristics of writing types.
• Understanding and structuring the elements of the fictional text (event, time, place, people, conflict).
• Discussing the purpose of language teaching and the problems experienced.
• Enriching writing techniques with activities.
• Applying creative writing strategies.
• Using narrative techniques suitable for text types.
• Knowing the narrative elements.

Students will know about creative writing with various written expression evaluation criteria before, during, and after the report. Students will be explained the requirements for planning, teaching, and evaluation in the process of writing, especially creative writing.
