To comprehend the importance of listening and speaking as comprehension skills and the stages of listening and speaking process; to teach and distinguish between listening and speaking types and features; be able to apply various methods and techniques to improve listening and speaking skills

Course Contents
Working to improve listening and speaking skills. Demonstrating and introducing various listening-comprehension exercises to be used in primary school Turkish lessons to prospective teachers and providing opportunities for them to develop these exercises themselves. Performing various listening exercises in the classroom. Explaining speaking skill with its theoretical dimensions. Describing, unfolding, defending and proving the idea, focusing on the way it is put into the production phase with examples. Speech organs, diaphragm control. Sound studies. Developing fluent and fluent speaking skills on a particular subject. Preparing practice environments for pre-service teachers to be introduced to various speaking exercises for primary school Turkish lessons and to improve their speaking skills.
