Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to the most common plants and animals in our country in general terms.

1Classifies living things in general terms.
2Recognize common microscopic organisms (bacteria, protozoa (such as amoeba, paremacium, euglena)).
3Gains an idea about mold and slime fungi.
4Recognize cap mushrooms.
5Recognizes plants.
6Recognizes common edible plants and medicinal plants.
7Recognizes common animals in our country (Fish, reptiles, birds, mammals)
8Recognizes parasitic plants
9Recognizes agricultural pest animals.

Course Contents
In this course, by classifying living things in general terms, plants and animals traditionally used for healing, food and building materials are discussed. Plants and animals that are harmful to agriculture and living things in our environment will be covered in detail.
