Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to improve the theoretical knowledge about the concept of social skills of prospective teachers and to develop the ability to plan, implement and evaluate the activities to improve the social skills of primary school children using this theoretical knowledge.

Course Contents
Definition of social skills concept, its dimensions, relations of dimensions with each other; social skills for students and generalization of skills, selection of methods and techniques; choice of target skills; analyzing the skills, modeling the child, playing role and performing rehearsals for the children; reprimanding children; assessing children's performances; generalization of social skills and examination of primary school curriculum; determination of the skills in the lessons and sample activity applications will be covered.
