Globalization and its effects on Turkey; developments in the world in the last century; changes in the environment; military and economic alliances; effects of globalization on underdeveloped countries; Turkey's situation in the face of globalization; concepts such as pluralism and multiculturalism (and their place in teaching social studies) and multicultural education practices.
