Objectives of the Course |
To comprehend the alphabets or writing systems used in the writing of Turkish from the beginning to the 21st century. To enable students to transfer texts written with these writing systems into transcription. |

Köktürk writing system, Old Uyghur alphabet, Arabic-based Ottoman Turkish alphabet (writing and printed), Slavic-based Cyrillic alphabet (commons and differences between the systems used by Turkish communities). |
