Objectives of the Course

The course introduces students to the historical evolution and traditions of Turkish foreign policy. The course will also focus on the current issues and problems in Turkish foreign policy. To teach the dynamics of Turkish foreign policy and events between 1923-1960.

Course Contents

In the Turkish Foreign Policy course, the Turkish foreign policy, which is followed by the National struggle period, is handled until the Lausanne Peace Treaty. The theoretical framework, basic goals and periods of the Turkish foreign policy in the Republican era, foreign policy in the interwar period, II. During World War Turkey's war policy and remain non-belligerent relations with the new trends in foreign policy during the Cold War alliance with Western countries, the Democratic Party era foreign policy.
