Objectives of the Course
The purpose of Media Literacy Course is to help students gain necessary media literacy knowledge and skills, reach the proficiency to use their knowledge and skills as a frame in their daily lives, and develop sensitivity to the local and global issues linked to the media.

1Explains basic concepts, the contributions of important theoreticians and the positive and negative impact of the media to the society.
2Identifies the main persuasion/propaganda techniques. Uses information search skills to reach various messages.

5Produces media messages for various media.
6Evaluates the impact of media’s commercial aspect on messages.
