Bilimsel araştırma ile ilgili temel kavramlar; bilim ve bilimsel yöntem; bilimsel araştırmalarda problem ve problemi tanımlama; yapılan veya yapılması tasarlanan bir araştırmanın amacı ve önemi; örnekleme yöntemleri; nicel ve nitel veri toplama teknikleri; nicel araştırmalar ve nicel araştırmalarda verilerin analizi; nitel araştırmalar ve nitel araştırmalarda verilerin analizi; bilimsel araştırmalarda raporlama ve bilimsel etik konularından oluşmaktadır.
