Course Contents
Four port circuits constant and analysis of long transmission lines: equivalent Pi circuit and equivalent T circuit, equivalent constant of parallel two circuits. Power and loss equation of power transmission lines. Circle diagrams: voltage, end line current, line current and end line power. Inductive power compensation and serial compensation. Switching elements. Energy distribution criteria, distribution systems, load characteristics, distribution transformers, regulators, transformer stations and protection elements. Conduction line equations, conduction line losses, general parameters of conduction lines. Periodically loaded lines and models. Interconnected lines and models. Protection principals. Current and voltage transformers. Over current, differential and impedance protection systems. Transformer, generator and line protection.
