Objectives of the Course
The primary aim of this course is to raise awareness of how the concept of justice can be defined and the cultural and universal issues related to this concept. Questions such as whether justice is a feeling, a conscientious phenomenon or a social necessity will be discussed within the scope of the course.

Course Contents
What are the characteristics that differentiate cultures and civilizations that are subject to geographical, religious and territorial distinctions, such as Western - Eastern civilization, Islamic civilization, Indian civilization? Are civilizations in conflict or in a relationship that nourishes each other and forms a larger framework of humanity? In what contexts is the phenomenon of justice similar and different across cultures? Answers to such questions, the number and perspective of which can be increased further, will be tried to be given within the scope of the course. At the end of the course, it is aimed for students to become familiar with the concepts of justice and culture and other concepts that can be included in these subheadings (multiculturalism, clash of civilizations, historical transformation, cultural difference, etc.).
