Objectives of the Course |
To be able to comprehend the basic features of theater and drama and to distinguish the main differences between them. To have information about the emergence of theatre, ideas about theatre, ancient theater, Roman theater and modern Turkish theater and traditional Turkish theater in terms of its beginnings. To gain skills to warm up, memorize, use body language effectively. To be able to reflect the essence of theatrical texts by effectively enacting the roles undertaken. |

Course Contents |
Definition of theater and drama, historical perspective. Theoretical and practical consideration of concepts such as body language, emphasis, intonation, and emotional value. The emergence of Turkish theater and the revival of theatrical works. |
