1 | the students will be able to; know phonetic and morphological features that distinguish the Proto Oghuz from other historical written languages. | 2 | the students will be able to; list the modern written languages and dialects that have developed from Proto Oghuz language; read the texts and translate them to Turkish by making use of the sources. | 3 | the students will be able to; recognize the phonetic and morphological features of such written languages such as Azeri, Turkmen and Gagavuz, along with their general characteristics; possess background knowledge about the other Oghuz dialects which have no written language such as Khorasan Turkic, Khraezm-Oghuz dialects, Kirkuk Turkish etc. | 4 | the students will be able to; possess the background knowledge necessary to support the language studies concerning the literatures, histories and cultures of the community that constitute the Oghuz group | 5 | | 6 | Dede Korkut hikayelerinin oluşumunu açıklayabilme | 7 | İpek Yolunun Türk Dünyasına etkilerini anlatabilme | 8 | Sünni-Şiî kültür arasındaki bağları anlatabilme | 9 | Safevî-Özbek mücadelesinin Türk dünyasındaki önemini öğrenebilme | 10 | Türkistan’da Rus yayılmacılığını sebepleriyle açıklayabilme |
