Objectives of the Course
To make students understand the realization of listening, which is one of the comprehension skills, its importance, its development as a language skill, types of listening, its place in Turkish Curriculum and the resources that can be used with the studies to be carried out for the development of listening skills.

Definition of listening and the elements that make listening happen. Function and functioning of the brain and other organs in listening. With listening, vocabulary, speaker, environment, etc. relationship between elements. Types of listening. Audience types. Listening deficits. The relationship between listening skills and other language skills. The place of listening skills in Turkish Lesson Curriculums. Activities to improve listening skills.
