1Define the basic concepts of assessment types used in education.
2Explain the statistics that are used in the development process of a measurement method.
3 Prepare measurement scale for performance evaluation.
4 Determine the validity and reliability of a measurement scale.
5Evaluate the results gathered from measurement scale.
6Evaluate the learning outcomes and transform them into score.
7Know contemporary (alternative) measurement and evaluation approaches and techniques used in education.

Course Contents
The basic concepts about measurement and evaluation; error of measurement; the features which have to be found in a measurement tool: reliability, validity and usefulness; measurement tools and methods used in education; test construction and item analysis; the statistical processes apply to test scores.
