Objectives of the Course |
To introduce students research methods in education, to ensure that they have knowledge and skills in identifying research problems, choosing the appropriate research model defining the population of interest and sampling, data collection and data analysis, interpreting the results of the analysis, reporting the results of the research and following the research principles and ethics. |

Basic concepts and principles of research methods; research process (defining the problem, determining the sample, data collection and analysis, reporting the results); basic paradigms in scientific research, literature review, access to articles, theses and databases, research models and types; quantitative and qualitative research designs; General features of data collection tools; analysis and evaluation of data; validity and security; reviewing, evaluating and presenting articles or thesis; Preparing a sample research report in accordance with research ethics. |
