Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to enable the students to recognize and use digital technologies, digital media and tools in a level that they can use in a competent manner. The process of finding, processing, editing, sharing, evaluating and analyzing information using digital technologies is the main topic of the course. At the end of the course, it is aimed to ensure the students' dominance of digital media and tools and increase the level of awareness and inquiry about these areas.

1Able gain knowledge of new media environment and will learn concepts and approaches necessary to evaluate events and facts related to new media.

The digital literacy course includes topics such as the use of digital technology tools, interaction with social media, communicating, understanding digital data, accessing and verifying information, social networks, digital citizenship, and the production and collection of digital information.
