Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is primarily to introduce the money market concepts, the financial structure and monetary theory in Turkey. Later, in this course, it is aimed to explain the functioning of monetary policy and its effects on the economy.

Course Contents
Basic concepts, financial structure in Turkey and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, monetary policy instruments, money supply, money demand, interest, monetary policy, monetary transmission mechanism and inflation targeting.
