Objectives of the Course
Within the scope of the Research Methods in Education course, the aim is to ensure that students understand why scientific research is carried out in education, to obtain information about the types of research methods in education, and to enable them to design and conduct a research in accordance with their field.

Course Contents
The content of the Research Methods in Education course can be expressed as follows; 1- Basic concepts and principles regarding research; 2- Research process (recognizing the problem, determining the problem and sample, data collection and analysis, interpreting the results); 3- General features of data collection tools; analysis and evaluation of data; 4- Access to articles, theses and databases; 5- Research models and types; 6- Basic paradigms in scientific research; 7- Quantitative and qualitative research designs; sampling, data collection, data analysis in qualitative research; validity and validity in qualitative research security; 8- Article or thesis review, evaluation and presentation; Preparing a research report in accordance with research principles and ethics; 9- Action research in education.
