Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain the knowledge, skills and behaviors that can examine the growth and development characteristics of the child from birth to the end of adolescence and their health deviations according to the systems with a holistic nursing approach.

Course Contents
The state of child health in the world and in our country, child-family and nurse, growth and development, nutrition, healthy child follow-up, fluid-electrolyte balance and imbalances, home accidents, psychosocial problems common in childhood, applications for pediatric nursing (anthropometric measurements, physical examination) , evaluation of percentile curves, vital signs, material collection, oxygen administration, drug administration, feeding methods, aspiration, postural drainage, catheter care) classification of newborn, neonatal diseases and nursing care, system diseases and nursing care
