The general aim of this course; It aims to teach students the first aid methods that they can apply in cases such as accidents, injuries, animal bites, disasters, etc. |

1 | Learns the definition of disaster and organizations related to disasters. | 2 | Learns general first aid rules and human anatomy | 3 | Learns the evaluation of the patient/injured and the crime scene. | 4 | Learns basic life support (CPR) practices. | 5 | Learns first aid in respiratory tract obstructions and injuries. | 6 | Learns first aid and tourniquet applications in cases of bleeding and shock. | 7 | Learns first aid in accidents and triage practices in accidents with a large number of injured. | 8 | Learns to apply first aid, dressing, splint and bandage in fractures, dislocations and sprains. | 9 | Learns first aid in head and spinal cord injuries and drowning. | 10 | Learns first aid in burns, heat balance disturbances and home accidents. | 11 | Learns first aid (epilepsy, diabetic coma, etc.) in cases of sudden loss of consciousness. | 12 | Learns first aid in animal bites and poisoning. | 13 | Learns first aid in case of foreign body in ear, nose, pharynx and eye. | 14 | Learns patient/injured transport techniques and body mechanics. |
