Objectives of the Course
The general aim of this course; It aims to teach students the first aid methods that they can apply in cases such as accidents, injuries, animal bites, disasters, etc.

Learning Outcomes
1Learns the definition of disaster and organizations related to disasters.
2Learns general first aid rules and human anatomy
3Learns the evaluation of the patient/injured and the crime scene.
4Learns basic life support (CPR) practices.
5Learns first aid in respiratory tract obstructions and injuries.
6Learns first aid and tourniquet applications in cases of bleeding and shock.
7Learns first aid in accidents and triage practices in accidents with a large number of injured.
8Learns to apply first aid, dressing, splint and bandage in fractures, dislocations and sprains.
9Learns first aid in head and spinal cord injuries and drowning.
10Learns first aid in burns, heat balance disturbances and home accidents.
11Learns first aid (epilepsy, diabetic coma, etc.) in cases of sudden loss of consciousness.
12Learns first aid in animal bites and poisoning.
13Learns first aid in case of foreign body in ear, nose, pharynx and eye.
14Learns patient/injured transport techniques and body mechanics.
