Objectives of the Course
To gain the ability to prepare and read technical drawings. 2. To gain the knowledge and skills of evaluating technical drawings of architectural projects by processing them with the correct method, detail and techniques.

Course Contents
Definition of technical drawing, its importance, historical development and place in the industry. Drawing tools and applications. Texts used in technical drawings, introduction of lines, their sizes, types, places of use and applications. Parallel lines, drawing perpendicular lines, dividing lines, drawing angles, connecting arcs, tangents and their applications. Drawing triangles, squares, polygons, ellipse-oval spiral drawings and their applications. Definition, importance, types and representation of scales and their applications. Definition and methods of projection, projections of points, lines, planes, applications. Creating appearances, places of use, basic determinations, drawing of parts with common appearances, reading and applications of appearances. Dimensioning, measurement elements and their uses, symbols used in dimensioning, rules and methods, applications. Sectioning, related terms and methods, representation of section planes and scanning of section surfaces, applications. Three-dimensional representation, definition and importance, parallel perspectives, central perspective, applications. Definition of surface qualities, symbols, signs added to symbols and their meanings, representation of symbols on the picture, their applications. Tolerances, their definition and importance, exercises, representation of deviations with symbols, sketch pictures and scales in sketches, their applications.
