Objectives of the Course
To inform about the design principles of steel structures. To teach the design of load-bearing elements that try to pull, compress and bend in steel structures. To introduce the joint elements used in steel structures and to teach the design of the connections. To introduce and dimension beams, trusses and stability joints in steel structures.
