Dersin Amacı
The objectives of this course are: hydrological transformation components, conventional hydrological methods, conventional methods for calculating rainfall-runoff relationships, calculation of peak and extreme rainstorms by statistical methods, hydrograph routing in a dam lake and a natural river, basic and input information about the account of the dam active volume by using Ripple diagram and operating chart methods.

1Will be able to describe and summarize the basic elements of the hydrological cycle.
2Will be able to understand the importance and measurement of the major meteorological elements.
3Will be able to measure and analyze basic hydrological elements such as precipitation, evaporation, infiltration, groundwater and surface flow.
4Will be able to analyze and apply hydrographs.
5Will be able to define the basic concepts of floods.
