|
Level of Course Unit |
First Cycle |
Objectives of the Course |
By giving basic concepts about Fluid Mechanics, to understand the properties of fluids, hydrostatic, kinematics of fluids and flow types. |
Name of Lecturer(s) |
Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ruşen SINIR |
Learning Outcomes |
1 | Pressure variations in the stationary fluid will be determined. | 2 | The forces applied on the plane and curvilinear surfaces by stationary fluids will be calculated. | 3 | The mass equation can be applied to a flow system in order to be able to balance inputs or outputs. | 4 | The Bernoulli equation can be used to solve different flow problems. | 5 | By applying the impulse-momentum equation, the effects of fluids on solid surfaces surrounding fluids can be determined. | 6 | Experiments can be carried out in hydraulic laboratories to find continuous and local load losses in pipelines. |
