The purpose of summer practice is to prepare the student to take responsibility in processes from raw material processing tomanufacturing. |

1-Understanding the history of the company and it's position in industry, 2- Understanding the flow chart of the processes, 3-Evaluating the heat and mass balances on the flow diagrams of the processes, 4-Acquiring information on the function of the processing units and the conditions of the facility, 5- Understanding the process control and quality control mechanisms. |

1 | Starting the practice in the company and introduction with the personal. Acquaintance with the environment. Start to record their impressions on the factory environment and the processes for their final report. | | | 2 | Learning the organization structure of the company and adding it to their reports. Literature and internet research on the product, processes and instruments and transfer them into the draft of the final report. | | | 3 | Acquiring information about power of the pumps, physical and physicochemical datas etc. Making heat and mass balances on the processes. Acquiring data on the quality control mechanisms applied in the firm and state them in the report. | | | 4 | Forming the abstract and summary parts of their final reports. Improving and correcting the report with the help of the responsible engineer in the facility. Submission of the report to the department. | | |
