Objectives of the Course
To perform the technical drawings which is a technical language determined with international standards between engineers and provides connection between design and manufacturing and gaining the talent of reading of existing drawings.

Learning Outcomes
1Learns the equipments used in engineering drawing.
2Folds standard paper, learning the line types and the technique of standard writing.
3Learns the creating the views of an element.
4Gains the talent of preparing the manufacturing drawings of a part planned for manufacturing.
5Gains the talent of three dimensional imaging of a figure of which views given.
6Recognizes the machine elements and expressing by means of technical drawing.
7Gains the knowledge of expressing of joining elements (welding, rivet, screw, key, etc.) in technical drawing.
8Acquires ability of drawing of simple montaged figures.

Course Contents
Identification of equipments used engineering drawing, folding standards papers, line types and standard writing, the geometrical drawings and their applications used in technical drawings, projection of objects, creating views and basic standard views, types of views and creating views, measuring the views and applications, sections and views of sections, intersections and surface qualities, tolerances, dimensional tolerances and geometrical tolerances perspective figures, welding and rivet figures, screws and bolt-nut drawings, indication of basic machine elements in technical drawings.
