Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to give primary student teachers opportunity to transfer their skills and knowledge obtained at the faculty into practice in the schools through different teaching and learning activities. Supporting the student teachers to develop their teaching skills.

1The students, will be able to; Define culture form different points of view and describe the stages Turkish culture has gone through in history.
2The students, will be able to; Analyse the written and oral products of Turkish culture and locate the place of these products in teaching Turkish.
3The students, will be able to; Compare and evaluate cultures and civilizations the Turkish culture has interacted with so far.
4The students, will be able to; Compare the current and past situations of Turkish culture.

Course Contents
To be able to develop teaching competences through practicing in various classrooms in practice schools. To be able to understand the primary curriculum, evaluate course books and practice measurement and assessment. To be able to develop their teaching skills and knowledge through sharing their experiences gained during teaching practice with other students and with mentors. To be able to develop skills and competences in classroom management, planning instruction and application.
