Objectives of the Course
To make students familiar with the uniform rules of international conventions and to know some national laws applicable to conventions due to conflicts of law rules; a comprehensive understanding of the common dangers, key risk areas, and current drafting techniques of some of the main categories of contracts that are considered international for commercial purposes.

Course Contents
The Vienna Sale Agreement entered into force on 1 August 2011 for Turkey. In this course, the student will be introduced to the structure, principles and rules of CISG. Within the scope of the course, the following basic legal issues will be discussed: interaction between CISG and Private International Law, jurisdiction and domestic law, general provisions and application of CISG, establishment of the contract, rights and obligations of the parties, transfer of damage, legal rights of the other party in case of breach of obligations
