Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce concepts related to project management and to provide students with project management skills. It also provides theoretical and practical information on project preparation and evaluation of the stages of the project management process.

Project definition, classification, planning, organizational structures in project management, schedule, networks, time-resource-cost planning, CPM and PERT methods, time cost analysis.

2Project concept, project management concept, life processes of projects and classification of projects.
3Project decision analysis: Problem definition, data and information requirements, performance measurement, decision model, decision making, decision implementation and group decision making methods.
4Determination of the project manager and formation of the project team, responsibilities and authorities of the project manager and project team.
5Project management processes: Problem identification, project definition, project planning, project organization, resource allocation, project tracking and reporting, project control and project termination.
6Gantt charts and networks.
7CPM method and examples.
8Midterm Exam.
9PERT method and examples.
10Project costing, managing resources, and balancing resources.
11Project control ES/LS curves and updating of the project.
12Earned values analysis and project termination.
13Examples of projects implemented in different fields and project management in the field of information technologies.
14Basic software used in PMI certification and project management processes.
