Objectives of the Course
Teaching the importance of packaging, transferring packaging differences, transferring packaging design and production, teaching the relationship between packaging and marketing, teaching the packaging of agricultural food products, introducing agricultural products that are stored in a controlled atmosphere with packaging in a modified atmosphere and transferring their applications.

1Understanding the importance of packaging materials in terms of food producers and consumers, Understanding the relationship between food impairments and the protection functions of packaging materials
2To have a general knowledge about the raw materials and processing of packaging materials used in food, To learn the general properties of glass, paper, metal and plastic packaging materials used in food and their usage areas in food industry
3Having knowledge about the properties of multi-layered packaging materials and their acquisition, learning the importance and methods of aseptic packaging
4Understanding the importance of storage in a controlled atmosphere in a controlled atmosphere and learning about them, Understanding of migration and its importance
5Gaining knowledge about line code system, Gaining the ability to be able to make proposals for packaging of food, Having information about some symbols on packaging materials
