| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | This is an introductory course which introduces students to the basic concepts, approaches and methodologies in sociology. The main aim of the course is; to provide students with a relationship between theory and empirical research, to develop students' sociological imagination and to reveal the rich heritage of sociology in terms of theoretical perspectives and scientific knowledge. | Name of Lecturer(s) | Doç.
