Objectives of the Course
The true purpose of this course is to acquaint the student with the research methods in social sciences and statistical analysis in generel. In this direction, the student will be thought to see how should a proper, consistent and empirical study in the field of political science looks like.

Course Contents
The concepts, features, history, areas of use, comparison with the qualitative method, steps are given, examples of published researches using the method are discussed and a research draft is prepared that can apply the quantitative research method. This course includes technical issues such as the realization and reporting of a quantitative social research.
