Objectives of the Course
Building the idea of language and consciousness within the context of communication tool, social phenomenon and productivity component of culture. Conceptualizing unit of the language with the level of relation among voice, syllable, word and affix. Making sense of word meaning and its? function as telling.

Definition and the importance of language; language-culture relationship; linguistics; development phases of Turkish language; phonetics, vowels, consonants, phonetics characteristics of Turkish, morphology, origin; morpheme, simple, derived and compound words; word groups, kinds of words; verb, noun, adjective, adverb, pronoun, conjunction, suffix, interjection. Roots in Turkish language, prefix, suffix from noun to noun or verb; from verb to noun or verb; types of inflections, stereotyped.
