Objectives of the Course
Purpose of this course is to develop and strengthen students’ chemistry knowledge; remove their deficiency and indicate application of this knowledge in elementary and high school. With this purpose subjects indicated in the content of the course explained in detail. Problems are solved about some topics, examples are given when necessary, connections are made with daily life and laboratory experiments are applied related to some subjects.

Characteristics of matter, interactions; elements and compounds, solutions and mixtures; phases of the matter; acids and bases, carbon compounds; poisoned carbon compounds; physical and chemical reactions, solubility and precipitation; oxidation and reduction; chemistry of life; chemical reactions; earth compounds; rocks; mineral types; changes in the earth crux; ground shapes and their motions ; chemical pollutions and human effect.
