Appreciates the importance of measurement and evaluation in education; comprehends the characteristics of traditional and contemporary measurement and evaluation tools and methods used in teaching; designs measurement tools related to the field and gains knowledge and skills related to the application; applies the desired statistical procedures to the measurement results. |

Course Contents |
The basic concepts about measurement and evaluation; error of measurement; the features which have to be found in a measurement tool: reliability, validity and usefulness; measurement tools and methods used in education; test construction and item analysis; the statistical processes apply to test scores. |
