Objectives of the Course
The aim of this study is to reveal the metaphors of pre-service teachers about the concepts of education, to enable them to acquire the concepts of education, and to form the essence of the teaching knowledge and skills to be gained during the four years. In addition, it is aimed to reveal the historical, social, scientific, economic and legal dimensions of education.

What is education? The importance of education in life, social, political, economic functions of education, formal education, non-formal education, types of education, the relationship between education and culture, elements of education, curriculum, curriculum, implicit curriculum, writing goals in education, learning, teaching, program, the foundations and objectives of Turkish national education, teaching profession, the structure of the Turkish education system.
