Objectives of the Course
To gain knowledge on the follow-up methods in the field of clinical pediatric dietetics, to be able to understand the related researches and to interpret the clinical practices concerning nutrition therapies in pediatric diseases.

1Have gained knowledge and skills on the clinical nutrition in pediatric dietetics.
2Have gained knowledge on the clinical practices in paediatric dietetics by observing
3Have learned the methods for patient follow-up in the out and in patient clinics.
4Have gained skills on the reading patients? file, analaysing the information, planning nutrition and diet therapy according to patients? clinical and laboratory findings.
5Be able to access, analyse and present the knowledge related to pediatric dietetics
6Be able to gain teamwork ability with all partners on pediatric dietetics
7Have attanded clinical nutrition studies in pediatric diseases.
8Have gained skills on the problems and its solutions in paediatric dietetics.

Prerequisites and co-requisities
To take the Internship courses, Mother and Child Nutrition, Nutrition in Pediatric Diseases I-II, Food Service Systems I-II, Diet Therapy in Diseases I-II must have been taken in advance

Course Contents
In metabolic diseases, medical nutrition therapy, malabsorbtions and nutritional therapy, premature infant feeding, childbirth and characteristics, diabetes and medical nutrition therapy, obesity, childhood obesity, metabolic syndrome and eating disorders, enteral and parenteral nutrition (in child) oncological diseases, nutritional therapy in kidney diseases
