Objectives of the Course
To make students understand how poems and plays work and how they achieve their desired effects, To give students an opportunity in which they experience teaching English via literature, To make students prepare activities, exercises and lesson plans based on poetry and drama.

Course Contents
In this course, the focal point is on how to teach poetry and plays, so they are first analysed together with the students and then some exercises which aim at language teaching are generated collaboratively. Those exercises have the inclusion of language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) together with the teaching of some basic literary terms, cultural elements and so forth.
