To comprehend the development in instructional technologies, to comprehend relationship between instructional technologies and communication, to comprehend relationship between instructional technologies and program, to comprehend importance of instruments in education, to know the relation between design factors and relation, to prepare educational material used by teacher often, to define properties of the computer-based teaching and environment

Course Contents
Concepts related to instructional technology, characteristics of various instructional technologies, the place and use of technologies in instructional process, determination of the technology needing of the school, preparing the technology planning, developing of 2- and/or 3- dimensional materials via educational technologies, developing teaching instruments (work sheets, designing of activity, transparencies, slides, visual media instruments (VCD, DVD) , computer-based course materials) , assessment of the qualities of various teaching materials, internet and distance education, visual designing principles, using instructional technologies in Turkey and in world.

1Technology and communication in relation to fundamental concepts in education, fundamental concepts regarding to instructional technology
2Instructional technology and communication, elements of the communication process, cone of experience, scientific principles based on cone of experience, glance instructional technology at recent years, factors influencing uses of the knowledge and instructional technology in classroom.
3Integration of the knowledge and instructional technology to education, relation between material and tools, process of the material development in instruction period, using of material and tools in an instruction period
4Overhead projector, preparing of overhead transparents, suggestions on using overhead projector, board and screen, audiovisual aids, epidiascope, digital camera and cameras
5Semantic networks, concept map, brain mapping, pictures, newspaper and journals, posters, diagrams, garphs, boards, worksheet, two and three dimensional models
