To enable students to be able to use Turkish effectively and correctly in academic and scientific writing.

Learning Outcomes
11. Students learn types of writing based on thought. 2. Students, essays, articles, criticism, paragraphs (columns), biography, autobiography, interviews, interviews, travel articles, backgrounds, memoirs, diaries, etc. learn writing types and official writing types (petition, record, decision, report, etc.). 3. Students learn the types of academic writing. 4. Students learn the stages in the process of scientific writing. 5. The students will be able to explain, discuss and write relations between texts in academic (scientific) texts (citing and making footnotes, bibliography); writing, summarizing, writing keywords; learn the ethical principles to be considered in scientific writings.

Types of essays based on thought (essay, article, criticism, paragraph (column) biography, autobiography, interview, interview, travel writing, background, memoir, daily), official writing types, academic language and features of writing; use of definitions, concepts and terms in academic writings; objective and subjective expression; structure and types of academic texts (articles, reports and scientific abstracts etc.); writing arguments (verifying a thought, defending or opposing); formal characteristics of scientific reports and articles; steps of writing a report; explanation, discussion, establishing relationships between texts, reference (citation and footnote, bibliography); writing, summarizing, writing keywords; ethical principles to be considered in scientific writings; writing academic text.
