Objectives of the Course

1	Students perceive the events that trigger of the end of the Ancient Time and starting Middle Age and decline of Roman Empire and appear of the Byzn. Students examine feudal system and dominant political chaos, and understand scholastic philosophy that generated in the religion context.
2	Students analysis efforts of Byzantium Empire to get legacy of Roman empire, and Byzantium resists efforts against emerge and spread of Islam. Students understand political process of Islamic state basically, they internalize development of Islamic civilization and importance.

2	Appearing of Byzantium Empire, political experience, relations between Islamic state and Turks, role of in the Crusade, process of fall and collapse.
3	Role of Christianity in the Roman Empire and Middle Ages European civilization,Feudal system-scholastic thought,Byzantium Empire as successor of this.
4	Appearing of Islam in Middle Ages, Century of Happiness (Asr-ı Saadet),the period of Hulefa-i Raşidin, and events that affect Muslims.
5	Umayyad Dynasty in the Islamic State, Endues Umayyad, institutional developments in the state organization.
6	Abbasid revolution in the Islamic state and Abbasid Dynasty, advance of the Islam civilization.
7	The weakening of Abbasid Dynasty and political disagreements in the Islamic World. Institutional developments in state organisation.
