To know the features of Arabic and Persian items in texts which are written in Ottoman Turkish in order to understand them.

5To read and understand Arabic relativity noun phrases used in Ottoman Turkish.

Course Contents
Arabic affixes and postpositions used in Ottoman Turkish. Feminine and masculine genders in Arabic. The features of Arabic vowels and consonants. Şemsî and kamerî letters; Arabic noun phrases and their features. Persian postpositions, prefixes, suffixes; Persian noun phrases and their features.
