Course Contents
The definition, rise, designation and geography of Classical Turkish Literature. The sources of Classical Turkish Literature. Forms of verse like encomium, ghazal, mathnawi, kıt’a and their features. Metrical system, it’s definition, short history, main forms of metrical system and practical examples. Informations about verses which are used generally, literary arts.

2Forms of verse that consist of staves
3Forms of verse that consist of strophes (Müselles, Murabba, Terbî’, Şarkı, Muhammes, Tardiye, Tahmis, Müseddis, Tesdîs, Müsebba, Tesbî’, Müsemmen, Tesmîn, Mütessâ’, Muaşşer, Ta’şîr).
4Other forms of verse that consist of strophes
5Basic rules and terms about metrical system.
6Aruz that used in Turkish literature and it’s forms.
7Rhyme in Classical Turkish poetry. Main rules and terms about rhyme. Kinds of rhyme. Letters of rhyme.
8Term examination.
9Eloquence and clarity. Meânî and some terms.. The situation of verb and subject in a sentence.
10Beyân. Reality in relationship of word and meaning. Metaphor Allegory.
11Bedî. Arts related with meaning: Tenâsüb, Leff ü Neşr,.
12Bedî. Arts related with meaning: Tecrîd, Tekrîr, İltifât, Tevriye, Tevcîh, İstihdâm, Müşâkele.
13Bedî. Arts related with meaning: Mübâlağa, Tecâhül-i Ârif, Hüsn-i Ta’lîl,
14Bedî. Arts belong to word: Cinâs, İştikâk,
15Muammâ ve Lügaz, Telmî’, Sihr-i Helâl, Tarih düşürme.
